Dr. Godwin is Double Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management He attended Pepperdine University in California for college He then completed his medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed an internship in Internal Medicine

Dr. Godwin is from Alabama but moved to Texas when his wife accepted a fellowship position at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Godwin completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital and then continued with a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at John Hopkins Hospital

Outside of work, Dr. Godwin loves spending time with his beloved wife and their rescued 70-pound sweetheart of a dog

They are proud to introduce their first child this past July and return back to “ in South Florida
